Terms & Conditions

By completing the booking process for any of our courses, workshops/events or private lessons either online or in person, you are accepting all the terms and conditions in this booking agreement. 

General Terms & Conditions for Afrodesia Salsa courses and events

  1. Places on all courses and events are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis.
  2. All our courses must be booked in advance, and your place is only secured once payment has been received.
  3. Courses can get fill up quickly. If a course is full, a waiting list will be offered.
  4. Despite Afrodesia Salsa efforts to keep a balanced number of leaders and followers, this cannot be guaranteed.
  5. Course and events fees are non-refundable unless we (Afrodesia Salsa) cancel the course or event. Course and events fees are also non-transferable to another course, person or event. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds or discounts for missed classes or events.
  6. Afrodesia Salsa reserves the right to cancel a course or event at any time. In this case, a full refund will be provided.
  7. Afrodesia Salsa reserves the right to refuse admission.
  8. Students are not permitted to promote, advertise, or recruit for other dance schools while attending Afrodesia Salsa courses or events. Any such actions, including distributing promotional materials, soliciting students, or using our community for external promotion will result in the suspension from our school and community.
  9. Video recording is strictly forbidden without the permission of Afrodesia Salsa.
  10. We may occasionally take photos and videos during classes and events for promotional and marketing purposes. By attending, you agree that you may be included in this content, which may be used on our website, social media, and other marketing materials. If you would prefer not to appear, please let a member of our team know in advance.
  11. Afrodesia Salsa classes and events are for adults only (age 18+).
  12. All our courses and events involve movement and physical activity. While we provide guidance during the lessons, you confirm that you are physically able to participate in dance activities and therefore accept responsability for any injury that may occur.
  13. You knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim you may have against Afrodesia Salsa and its instructors for injury or damages that you may sustain as a result of participating in the classes and events.
  14. For your health and safety and the health and safety of other participants, you must follow all instructions given by our instructors during the classes and events.
  15. We are committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. If you behave in a risky or inappropriate way (for example, if you threaten or harass others, damage equipment, use illicit substances, or teach other participants without our permission) appropriate action will be taken. If your conduct causes Afrodesia Salsa or another person costs, loss or damages you agree to pay for these.

General Terms & Conditions for Afrodesia Salsa private lessons

  1. The private class is for the specific day and time arranged with Afrodesia Salsa.
  2. Any cancellation/reschedule must be requested via email at  salsa@afrodesiasalsa.co.uk at least 48 hrs before the start of the class to obtain a refund. 
  3. No refund/reschedule will be provided if failing to notify less than 48 hrs before the start of the class.
  4. Private classes fees are non-transferable to another person or event. 
  5. Afrodesia Salsa reserves the right to cancel the private lesson, full refund will be provided in this case.
  6. Afrodesia Salsa classes are for adults only (age 18+).
  7. All our courses involve movement and physical activity. While we provide guidance during the lessons, you confirm that you are physically able to participate in dance activities and therefore accept responsability for any injury that may occur.
